Concept and Design

Characterization and design is the initial and most critical phase of the project. Understanding the importance of this stage BunkerSec developed a unique set of tools that enables us to present a detailed 3D model of the future facility together with a rough cost breakdown of the project within several days. Based on that, the customer can knowledgeably and accurately evaluate the existing alternatives based on cost analysis and to ascertain the final product’s characteristics. .
Initial characterization:
Performed by BunkerSec’s experts in business and threat analysis and includes:
- In-depth analysis of the organization's present and future needs.
- Comprehensive threat scenario assessment; manmade (terror, mega terror, war, internal sabotage, etc.) and natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires, etc.).
Technological review to address the needs:
Performed by BunkerSec’s technology team:
- Physical infrastructure – building, protection and electro-mechanical systems.
- Hardware infrastructure – equipment supporting servers, data storage and communication.
- Software infrastructure – command and control of the facility in general and the data center specifically.
The following parameters will be taken into consideration during the concept phase:
- Support survivability and business continuity.
- Compatibility to future growth based on techno-economical software.
- Optimization of the facility usage based on CAPEX and OPEX analysis.
Review of the organization resources.
Upon completion of the characterization phase, which will be followed by the design phase, we shall recommend the best-tailored solution for the organization. Design services, which involve the company's staff and supporting consultants, are offered in two stages – initial design and detailed design. The final products are detailed specification, volume amount, cost breakdown and blueprints (including full superposition).
This phase includes:
- Initial design – creating a full plan of the facility, equipment, communication, computing and mode of operation.
- Detailed design – our team and supporting consultants will create detailed specification, volume amounts and blueprints (including full superposition).
- Issuing tenders – issuing tenders and addressing appropriate contractors and vendors.
- Qualification and evaluation - our team will review submitted bids, prepare summary proposal documentation, and select the most appropriate vendor for the project.
